At Quicksilver’s Site
We operate an on-site skip system for our waste with Premier Waste Recycling Ltd. Skips are kept onsite for wood, and for general waste. A third skip receives confidential paper waste, which is kept locked unless being accessed by Archive dedicated staff.
An additional service is a provision of skips to Quicksilver customers at their home sites, from which skips can be collected by our contractor directly. Lockable skips of a variety of sizes are available.

End to End Service
We work with many organisations who currently have recycling and disposal service contracts with large contractors, however, as part of a main project we can provide a full service to customers giving increased value for money providing removal, storage and recycling services as one seamless project.
Where it is not possible to site a skip, Quicksilver will send a van to remove items for disposal ranging from fridges, microwaves, chairs, desks, pedestals, bits of cabling, extensions, carpet tiles – anything from premises that cannot be disposed of via an existing contractor can be handled by Quicksilver.

- Promotion of recycling schemes and procedures to your employees, raising awareness and engagement on the benefits of correct segregation and separating items from general waste
- Reporting on recycling performance – This will be supplied to you with a recycling certificate and verifies compliance, provides details of the amounts and types of waste processed and confirmation that all has been processed in accordance with our recycling quality programme.
- Management of contracts with the recyclable reprocessing facilities and specialist collection contractors, maintaining the best value for you

Do you WEEE Responsibly?
As a user of electrical and electronic equipment and a resulting producer of WEEE waste, you must dispose of your WEEE responsibly.
Government WEEE legislation means that electrical items can no longer be disposed of in general rubbish collections or via landfill. Quicksilver offers a fully compliant solution, providing a collection and disposal service of small or large quantities.
We can collect on a one off basis, as part of your move or as a regular collection for the following items:
- Computers and IT equipment
- Televisions
- Large & small electrical appliances
- Lamps and fluorescent tubes
- Household white goods
Whether you have a single or bulk load, Quicksilver will make the correct arrangements to ensure your equipment is collected and treated in accordance with legislation. A waste transfer note is provided at the point of collection and certificate of destruction will be supplied once recycled.
